Research has shown that people can work better with computer systems if they are in a recognizable shape. So Zen can move around, a bit like a pet. But appearances can be misleading - Zen is a very powerful system. If Gen and Cooper want to succeed, they'll have to work around Zen. But as Zen can appear anywhere, that might be impossible.
